Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has warned his players that they must stay motivated if they want to secure the Premier League title or even finish in the top four this season.
City has won the Premier League title for the past four years and is aiming for their seventh in eight seasons. However, Guardiola stressed the importance of maintaining focus and effort.
Ahead of Sunday’s match against Chelsea, Pep Guardiola said, “Our job is to ensure we do everything properly because that’s how we win and succeed. If we become complacent and believe we’ve already achieved enough, we won’t win or finish in the top four. Staying motivated is crucial from the start of the season.”
