BREAKING: Peter Obi Not a Member of Labour Party, Tribunal Receives Documents

Peter Obi Not a Member of Labour Party

The Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) has admitted documents by the All Progressives Party (APC) accusing Peter Obi of not being a member of the Labour Party (LP).

During the defence proceeding on Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima submitted a copy of the Labour Party membership register for Anambra State to the court as evidence to support their claim.

Tinubu and Shettima argued that Obi since he was not a party member during the last presidential election, was ineligible to contest the election under the LP’s banner.
