A petrol-laden tanker explosion has reportedly taken several lives and properties in the Olambe, Matogun area of Ogun State.
This tragic event, according to reports occurred in the early hours of September 3, 2022.
While details of the incident were still sketchy as of press time, it was noted that an unconfirmed number of persons were affected by the inferno, including shops and buildings around the axis.

“A petrol tanker just exploded at Olambe in Akute, Ogun state and the fire is still on. Several properties have been destroyed already,” a resident said.
