Pheelz Fulfillls Dream Collaboration with Usher on ‘Ruins’ for ‘Homecoming’ Album

Philip Kayode Moses, a renowned Nigerian record producer and singer, better known as Pheelz, is elated about his recent collaboration with American R&B sensation Usher, describing it as a lifelong dream fulfilled.

Their collaboration took shape in the track ‘Ruins,’ featured on Usher’s latest album, ‘Homecoming.

Reflecting on this milestone during an interview with Apple Music, Pheelz expressed his gratitude, emphasizing that working with Usher signifies the realization of dreams and underscores the remarkable progress of Nigerian music on the global stage.

Recalling his upbringing in Nigeria, Pheelz revealed that Usher had been his idol, making the collaboration even more surreal and meaningful.

“I would listen to Usher almost every day growing up. I literally dived into his albums and learned from him. And to be able to write, produce, and teach him [Usher] in a way, it shows me how far the [Nigerian] music has gone. It shows me how far dreams can go as well,” Pheelz said.
