Photos: Female Pastor Accepts Islam, Converts Church to Mosque in Oyo

A Nigerian female pastor, Mary Magdalene has accepted Islam as her new faith and has also turned her church into a mosque.

The event reportedly took place in Fatusi area, Ibadan the Oyo state capital at the mosque, which used to be a Cherubim and Seraphim church until the pastor became a Muslim.

According to OYO, the commissioning of the new worship center for Muslims was witnessed by important persons like the Asiwaji Adini of Oyo state amongst other great Islamic scholars.

Speaking at the event, Barrister Akintola, an Islamic scholar made it known that Mary’s conversion from Christianity to Islam came as a result of a dream she had.

According to Akintola, Mary had a dream where her church members were praying like Muslims and this made her to take the decision of accepting Islam.

He concluded by saying that the church which has been converted into a mosque and has also been successfully comissioned will fully be dedicated to the worship of Allah.

The bizarre event also saw Friday prayers held inside the new mosque.
