Reality star and actress Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has reconsidered the idea of marriage after a recent disturbing experience. The Big Brother Naija Season 6 winner urged her followers on social media to “say no to marriage.”
When a curious fan asked what prompted her stance, Phyna explained that she had recently witnessed an incident of domestic violence, which disheartened her about the concept of marriage.
On her X handle, Phyna wrote, “Say no to marriage [cancel emoji].”
A fan asked, “But why?” Phyna responded, “I just saw a man brutally beating his wife. I stopped to help, along with others, but the man was uncontrollable. It just wore me out.”
