No fewer than 16 suspected internet fraudsters, have been arrested by the Police in Ughelli, Delta State and transferred to the State Command in Asaba.
Also, the Chairman of Ughelli North Council, Olorogun Godwin Adode has imposed a dawn to dusk curfew in the town.
The Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Ari Muhammed Ali disclosed this during a chat with newsmen, on Wednesday.

According to Ali, he visited Ughelli to assess the damage done by the suspected internet fraudsters in Ughelli during the protest against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

The Police Boss further debunked rumours that the Police killed the person who was allegedly shot dead during the protest.
Adding that “Policemen are very professional in handling situations”.
