The police force in Zambia have arrested two people, for allegedly trying to bewitch the president.
According to reports, the suspects, identified as Jasten Mabulesse Candunde, 42, and Leonard Phiri, 43 who are said to be practicing herbalist were said to have been hired to bewitch the Zambian president, Hakainde Hichilema.

Confirming the arrest, the police issued a statement on Friday, December 20, stating that the suspect, who were hired by Nelson Banda, the younger brother of a parliament member were caught with the charms which were meant to be used to harm the president.
The statement reads;
“The suspects were found in possession of assorted charms, including a live chameleon, and are alleged to be practicing witchdoctors,”

Emmanuel has denied been involved in the conspiracy, and hasn’t been seen in public ever since.
Police said the suspects were promised K2,000,000 (about $72,166) after the execution of their mission.
