  • Men of the Kwara state police command have arrested five people, in connection to a murder in the state.

  • The Suspects are alleged to have killed a 46-year-old man in Ilorin, Kwara state.

The Kwara state police command have secured the arrest of five suspects for the murder of one Comrade Adebayo Olanrewaju Mathew, 46.

According to reports, the deceased was said to have been matcheted in the Ita-Elepa area of Ilorin West LGA, after an argument between him and some local security men while on his way home  on Sunday night.

 

Part of the suspects arrested include, the chairman of the community, his two wives and two local security men.

The police added that more investigations are ongoing as the suspect were arrested on Tuesday, October 22, and have been transferred to the State Police Criminal Investigation Department headquarters, Ilorin, on Wednesday.
