Fake soldiers in Delta

Two imposters on military uniform were arrested by Policemen from Ugborikoko Divisional headquarters, led by CSP Martha Ikong, in collaboration with military personnel, at Bendel Estate, Off Airport road, Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.

Ten (10) pairs of military camouflage uniforms, six (6) T-shirt, jungle caps, one T-shirt and one singlet was recovered from the suspects.

The arrest of the fake soldiers was disclosed by the Delta State Police Command led by CP Ari Muhammed in a statement signed by the Acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe.

The names of the suspects to include, Jemilia Suleman (48yrs) and one Monagor Charles (61yrs) as disclosed by the police image maker

According to the Police, “The lady suspect confessed that she bought the said uniform from the market and she uses it to earn a living”.

According to the statement, investigation is still ongoing into the matter.
