The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a man, Gafaru Rasaki, for allegedly exhuming human remains from a cemetery in Sagamu and being found in possession of four human heads. The command’s spokesperson, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday in Abeokuta.
“Ogun State Police Command has taken Gafaru Rasaki into custody for unlawfully exhuming human remains and possessing four human heads,” Babaseyi said. The police spokesperson reaffirmed the command’s commitment to protecting public safety and warned that anyone involved in the desecration of human remains would face the full weight of the law.

The exhibits have been secured, and the suspect will be charged to court at the conclusion of investigations.
