Nigerian musician Naira Marley has been arrested by the police for questioning in connection with the death of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
Lagos State Police Command detained Naira Marley following his arrest on Tuesday.
The Marlian Records Boss had said on September 28 that he would return to Nigeria for interrogation if the police could guarantee his safety.
He further promised to assist the police in their investigation to unravel the controversies behind Mohbad’s death.

The Police Spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed via X.
Hundeyin said;
“Azeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley, has been taken into custody for interrogation and other investigation activities.”
Naira Marley also denied allegations that he had a hand in Mohbad’s death, stating that despite their fallout in 2022, “no harm was wished on him.”
