Police Arrest Notorious Drug Dealer In Jigawa | Daily Report Nigeria

Operatives of the Jigawa police command have arrested a suspected drug dealer.

According to a statement released on Tuesday, July 19 by the spokesperson of the command, DSP Lawn Shiisu Adam, a total of 265 wraps of substance suspected to be marijuana were recovered from him.

He said;

“On 18/07/2022 at about 2030hrs, Police Squad attached to Auyo Division led by Insp Rayyanu Ashahabu while acting on intelligence, intercepted one notorious drug dealer in Auyo town,” he stated.

“During the raid, two hundred and sixty-five (265) rubs of dried leaves suspected to be Indian Hemp, eighty-nine (89) pieces of intoxicated D5_ Diazepam drugs, sixty-two BZ drugs, twelve (12) Rizla papers, and one scissor was found from him as an exhibit.

 

“In the course of an investigation, the suspect made a confessional statement that he obtained the same from his co-supplier, one Sule Mai Kunne ‘m’ of Adaha Village Auyo LGA, now at large.

“Effort is on top gear to trail his accomplices. The suspect will be charged to a court of law upon completion of the investigation

“Rigorous patrols and raids on criminal hideouts and black spots will be sustained across the twenty-seven 27 LGAs in the State.” the PPRO added.
