The Osun state police command have arrested one Nuruden Alowonle, a park manager for Illegal possession of firearm, amongst other crimes.
Daily Report Nigeria gathers that Alowonle was appointed by the the governor of Osun state, Ademola Adeleke as the chairman of the Osun state Park management (OPMS)

He was arrested in the late hours of Monday, November 18, by the force after making threats, and attempting to attack a resident who filed a petition against him.
Confirming the arrest, the second spokesperson of the state command, ASP Giwa Alade Emmanuel said;
According to what I know about the case, it was reported at the Oja Oba division and the CP directed that it should be transferred to the anti-kidnapping squad for discreet investigation. The case is still under investigation,”

He added the suspect, alongside other accomplices were arrested on Sunday, following credible intelligence.
He added that Alowonlo is facing a case of unlawful possession of firearm, malicious damage and attempted murder.
