Police Arrest Three Suspected Fraudsters In Lagos | Daily Report Nigeria

Authorities of the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command have nabbed three suspects for defrauding members of the public while disguising themselves as drivers and passengers.

It was gathered that the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC), in Opebi, Ikeja arrested the three men following a tip-off and handed them over to the RRS.

According to the initial investigations, the suspects identified as Dele Olawale ‘m’ aged 52, Remi Ogunleye ‘m’ aged 45, and Kole Akintunjoye ‘m’ aged 40, are residents in Ogun State but resume in Lagos daily to prey on unsuspecting passengers.

The gang, operating in a Volkswagen Golf, with registration number KRD 998 DE act like total strangers to one another to disarm their victim.

It was learnt that they carry out their notorious activities mostly in Lagos Island, Lekki, and Ikoyi.

Meanwhile, the Commander RRS, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi, has transferred the case to the State Headquarters for further investigations.
