The Ebonyi police command has arrested two persons over their alleged involvement in the beheading of a member of the Ebube Agu security outfit, Sunday Nwafor
The the 30-year-old man was killed on Saturday in his home located at Ekpelu, Ikwo LGA of the state.
Loveth Odah, spokesperson of the state police command, confirmed the arrest of the suspects on Monday.
According to NAN, Odah said: “The incident occurred in Ikwo local government area. Two suspects have been arrested and investigation is ongoing,”

“This is coming barely two weeks after we recorded the other Ebubeagu incident, in which someone was also killed in this form and half burnt.
“The commissioner of police condemns the killing and vowed to do everything within the ambit of the law to ensure that the remaining perpetrators are brought to book.”
