Once again, men of the Nigerian police force have clapped against fraud and crime, after apprehending three culprits in Yobe.
Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the Yobe state police command arrested three ATM fraudsters in the state.

Confirming the arrest to newsmen on Saturday, the commands PRO, DSP Dungus Abdulkarim noted that the suspects specialized in pretending to help people at the ATM stand.
On December 6, 2024, the State Intelligence Department (SID) apprehended three suspects – Sani Kasim, 35, Nura Umaru, 24, and Umar Suleman, 22 – for their involvement in a criminal syndicate that targeted ATM users in the state”, DSP Abdulkarim said.
He added that they then trick the people into revealing their personal withdrawal pin before proceeding to swap their ATM cards.

They would offer to assist the bank customers, then swap their ATM cards and withdraw cash from their accounts”,
Six victims, including a visually impaired person who lost N181,550 have identified the suspects”, he added.
Some items recovered from them include: 47 ATM cards, 4 cellphones, and a Mercedes Benz vehicle.
