The Vice Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief Frank Esiwo Ozue, was on Sunday, kidnapped by gunmen at Ogor town in Ughelli North Local Government Area of the State.
A family source who confirmed the incident to newsmen in Warri on Monday, said the council vice chairman was alone in the car when he was attacked.

According to the source, Ozue was travelling to the Patani area when the gunmen forcefully stopped him along Iwhre-Ovie/Oviri-Ogor Road off the Ughelli/Evwreni section of the East-West Road.
“The kidnappers left his car and his belongings including his phones at the scene of the incident. the source said.
“They have not reached out to the family since Sunday. The family is very worried about the state of his health”.
Delta police spokesperson, Bright Edafe while confirming the incident said they are doing everything possible to rescue the LG Vice Chairman.
