The Imo State Police Command has confirmed the gruesome murder of Joe Ochulor, the traditional ruler of Otulu Amumara Autonomous Community in the Ezinihitte-Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.
Gunmen kidnapped Ochulor on November 25, 2023, and his lifeless body was discovered less than 24 hours later along Mbutu Community road, in the Aboh-Mbaise Local Government Area.
The Commissioner of Police, Danjuma Aboki strongly condemned the unfortunate incident and has vowed to leave no stone unturned in apprehending the perpetrators and ensuring they face the full force of the law.
In response, the police Aboki has established an investigating team to swiftly bring the culprits to justice.

While the manhunt is ongoing, the Commissioner has advised the public to assist the investigation by providing useful information about the suspects.
