The Lagos State Police Command has officially acknowledged receiving the petition by Tiwa Savage about Davido.
Savage had filed a petition against her colleague, Davido, accusing him of bullying and threatening her life.
She had alleged that Davido was throwing threats her way due to her relationship with his baby mama and ex-girlfriend, Sophia Momodu.
In the petition, Tiwa Savage accused Davido of using disrespectful language in response to a post featuring herself and Sophia Momodu.
She expressed her disappointment with Davido’s threats, reminding him of her unwavering support during his family’s challenging times, notably when he lost his son, Ifeanyi.
Meanwhile, the Lagos Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed on Tuesday that authorities have begun investigations into the matter
Hundeyin said:
“I can confirm to you that we have received the petition, and investigation has commenced.”
