Investigators, acting on intelligence, tracked down the suspects identified as Favour Sunday, Ikot Moses, Dickson Ighobue Harrison, Joshua Adedamola, and Daniel Jonathan.

Findings revealed that the stolen Toyota was sold for ₦500,000 to Wasiu Arinola, who dismantled the car and disposed of the parts in Ibadan before he was eventually apprehended.

Police officials noted that efforts are underway to recover the firearm used in the operation, trace other vehicles linked to the group, and ensure prosecution of all the suspects.

Lagos Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, reaffirmed the Command’s determination to safeguard lives and property, while urging residents to continue sharing credible information that can help curb crime in the state.
