Ekiti State Police Command from Anti-Fraud Unit at Aramoko has nabbed a certain herbalist, Nurudeen Ibrahim including 29 other suspects over rape and Ten million naira fraud.
The Command paraded the herbalist amidst other offenses such as cultism, robbery, and kidnapping among others.
While doing so, Police Spokesperson, DSP Sunday Abutu affirmed that Ibrahim allegedly defrauded a 50-year-old businesswoman of Ogundele Street, Agbado in Ogun State of ten million, four hundred thousand naira, and raped her on different occasions.

Abutu noted the victim explained that she met the suspect in Aramoko-Ekiti sometime in September 2019 when her business was crumbling and was instructed to meet him for some rituals to boost it.
She narrated that between September 2019 and 2021, the herbalist collected eight million naira through bank transfers and an additional two million, four hundred thousand naira cash as the cost of the rituals.
She also claimed the suspect had unlawful carnal knowledge of her more than three times since then and threatened that she will die if she informs anyone including her husband.
But the victim decided to open up to her family members after she started noticing negative signs all over her body.
She had lost her menstruation, her business, and became very ill after which a family member informed the police which led to the arrest of the herbalist.
The suspect, in the end, admitted to collecting eight million naira from the victim to assist her in prayers that would boost her business.
