The affairs of the syndicate were exposed when girls some of the girls they supplied to the bandits in the forest didn’t return.

Another mother, Jummai Ibrahim, was also arrested for allegedly having an affair with a kingpin of the bandits.

According to Ibrahim, she gave herself to the bandits’ kingpin in a bid to protect her father and children from the wrath of the bandits, who she claimed threatened to kill them, even after they had rustled the family’s cattle.

Some of the pleasure-giving women said they had only passed a single night with the bandits, and that the gunmen live with their wives, but are hosted at different locations separate from their families.

The arrested women were, however, remorseful for being in a romance with the bandits in the forest.
