The insecurity threat has thereby awakened the residents to resort to protesting the incessant kidnap in the community.
In the course of the protest on Friday, they had the Bauchi-Dass road barricaded for hours.
Having said that, the state police Command had assured adequate security of lives and property so as to ensure peace in the community.
SP Wakil disclosed that the security is now tight at Birshin Fulani for the presence of police in all areas of the community.
Wakil stated thus: “That is why they (police operatives) are given vehicles to be able to enter nooks and crannies. And if you look at it, the modus operandi of the kidnappers is the use of motorcycles. There are areas motorcycles can access that vehicles cannot.”
The PPRO, however, urged the generality of the public to always supply the police with helpful and graspable information with which the police would act upon.
