The Lagos Coroner System has announced that a coroner’s inquest into the death of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as MohBad, will commence on September 29.
The inquest will be held at the Magistrate Court 3, Candide-Johnson Courthouse, Ikorodu.
The convocation of the inquest was initiated following a request by the chamber of human rights lawyer, Mr Femi Falana.
Recall that the tragic and sudden death of MohBad occurred in Ikorodu under circumstances that many insisted necessitated the convocation of an inquest.

The cause of his death was still unclear, but there were allegations that he died as a result of an ear infection.
However, Marlian Music record owner, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, who was at the center of the controversy and allegations made by the deceased, has stated his readiness to assist the police in unraveling the circumstances surrounding MohBad’s death.
Naira Marley also maintained that he had no hand in the death of the 27-year-old singer, either directly or indirectly.
He has been out of the country since August 31, 2023, and has yet to return. He disclosed he was making arrangements to return to the country to assist with the investigation and provide his version of the events
The Lagos State Police Command on its side, has confirmed the conclusion of the autopsy.
