A yet-to-be-identified policeman is at large after shooting his lover in the mouth.
This occurred at the Salvation Bus Stop in Ikeja, Lagos state.
The policeman after perpetrating the crime was learnt to have abandoned the victim and absconded.

The lady was however rushed to the hospital for treatment after being discovered by good samaritans.
The victim’s chin had torned as a result of the bullet which penetrated her mouth.
Confirming the incident, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, said that the policeman has been identified.
According to Adejobi, the policeman only works in the state and not in Lagos Command.
“He is the lady’s boyfriend; we will get him. We guess they have a conflict that triggered the shooting. Policemen have been sent to the hospital to visit the lady and get some facts when she is stable,” he said.
