Some yet-to-be-identified policemen from Oko Oba Divisional Police Station in the Ojokoro area of Lagos State on Tuesday evening reportedly shot a motorcyclist and drove away with the corpse.
The incident was said to have happened at Olayiwola street, social club junction, Abule egba, Lagos at around 6:30 pm.
A source in the area, who spoke with newsmen, said the policemen drove the corpse away after the incident.

“Policemen shot a bike man in the head and left with the corpse, at Olayiwola street, Social Club junction, Abule-Egba.
“I passed through the place now. People actually had to stone the police officers to drive them off,” one of the eyewitnesses said.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the State, SP Benjamin, confirming the death, said the riders violently attacked the police officers on Abule-Egba bridge after an accident involving a car and a motorcycle.
Hundeyin said: “We’re fully aware of the disturbances in Oko-Oba area of Lagos State. Our officers have been deployed. Situation has been brought under control. Further details will be provided later.
“After a minor accident involving a car and a motorcycle occurred on the Abule-Egba Bridge at about 4pm Tuesday, motorcycle riders in their numbers started fomenting trouble. Police arrived on the scene to quell the unrest. The riders violently attacked the Police. This resulted in the death of one of the riders.”
