The Chairman of Zamfara State Council of Chiefs and Emir of Anka, Alhaji Attahiru Muhammad Ahmed has warned citizens in the northern part of the country against polygamy.

This is even as the Emir stated that polygamy is responsible for the falling standard of education in the country.

Emir Ahmed stated this during a meeting with seventeen emirs of the state and the chairman, Zamfara State Universal Education Board, Alhaji Abubakar Aliyu Maradun in Gusau.

The monarch also reiterated the traditional rulers’ support to Universal Basic Education Board in Zamfara State towards providing quality education to the people.
