Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has indicated that he married a second wife for a reason.
The actor faced backlash days ago after he unveiled his second wife and child.
Reacting to the news, many accused him of being unfair to his wife of 17 years, May, since he severally attested that she never troubled him even when he had nothing.
Edochie responding to the controversy over his news this time said those who are criticising him don’t live in his house or know why he married a second wife.
The actor continued via an Instalive discussion with music executive Paul Okoye and expressed that he would not reveal what is going on in his family in public to avoid people seeing his wife, May, as a bad person.
He said:
“I’d rather take the fire than let the pressure get to me and make my first wife, May, appear awful in public.”
He further announced that God is preparing him for Aso Rock adding that the tension in his home is under control.
As a “leader,” the actor affirmed he will be humiliated for certain decisions he makes either good or bad.
