The lawmaker representing Burutu Federal Constituency at the House of Representative, Julius Pondi, on Thursday, led faces of dignitaries at the swearing-in of new executives by the Obotobo 1 Youth Association.
The new leadership led by Paris Ebah, was sworn in amidst fanfare at the community town hall in Obototo 1, Ogulagha Kingdom of Burutu local government area.

Speaking after his inauguration, Paris sought the cooperation of the leadership of the community, traditional council, as well as the political class to propel the association forward.
“Peace is birthed by unity and unity is power. We therefore, solicit for the cooperation of the Obotobo 1 community leadership, traditional council, political class, and the entire youth body to enable this executives achieve their set goals,” Paris said.
On his part, Pondi, who was represented by Comrade Ayoromiegha Welemu Williams, charged the new executives to make love and unity their driving force in all of their engagements, adding that the love for the people they lead would be the fuel to their destination as a successful leadership.
“In all you do, let their be unity among yourselves, and let the love for the people you lead take centre stage in all of your activities,” Pondi charged.
Other notable faces at the ceremony include the Senior Special Assistant on Security to the Delta State Government, Dennis Gawei, Special Assistants to the Delta State Government, Ozobo Austin and Ellington Bakumor, and Moses Agbobulagha, PDP Ward 11 Chairman.
Others include Ebizimor Ekisah, Chairman Burutu Community, Samuel Uyadonghan, Chairman IYC Ogulagha Clan, Tare Ebiared, Odimodi Youth President, Reuben Selekowei, APC Youth Leader Kiagbodo Ward 8, Tare Magbei, Chairman Nigeria Youth Organization Burutu, and a plethora of well wishers.
