Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, has accused Davido of seeking attention with their recent dinner in the United States. He expressed disappointment that instead of collaborating on music or offering financial support, Davido used their meeting to gain publicity.
Portable insisted that the DMW boss should have given him at least $10,000. The ‘Zazu’ crooner made these statements in a video posted on his Instagram page recently.
“Davido played me. He invited me out to dinner in America but didn’t give me a verse or any money, just used me to get attention. He should have given me at least $10,000,” he stated.

The fallout between Portable and Davido began when Portable publicly accused Davido of giving him “bad advice” during their dinner in the United States. Davido subsequently unfollowed Portable on Instagram, and Portable also unfollowed him.
