Portable Claims Fela’s Activism Led to His Early Death, Blames Zlatan for Rift with Davido

Portable

Nigerian singer Portable has stirred controversy by blaming the late Afrobeats pioneer Fela Anikulapo-Kuti for his own death, claiming Fela’s activism led to his early demise.

In a recent podcast with media personality Quincy Jonze on the ‘Echoo Room,’ Portable suggested that Fela would have lived longer if he had “minded his own business” instead of fighting for Nigerians.

The conversation took another turn when Portable addressed his ongoing feud with rapper Zlatan Ibile, referring to him as the “devil” who caused a rift between him and Davido.
