Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, disclosed that he received an invitation to Davido’s wedding but lamented missing out on being a groomsman due to issues with rapper Zlatan Ibile, which affected his relationship with the DMW boss.
During an Instagram live session with fans, Portable remarked, “I was invited to Davido’s wedding. If Zlatan Ibile hadn’t spoiled my friendship with Davido, I would have been one of the groomsmen.”
Davido and Chioma’s wedding drew a host of dignitaries including Governors Ademola Adeleke (Osun), Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos), Alex Otti (Abia), Godwin Obaseki (Edo), former President Olusegun Obasanjo, and the Ooni of Ife, HRH Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi. Celebrities such as Zlatan Ibile, Ini Edo, Paul Okoye, Patoranking, Cubana Chief Priest, and B-Red were also present.

The rift between Davido and Portable emerged after Portable accused Davido of providing him with “bad advice” during a recent dinner in the United States, leading to Davido unfollowing him on Instagram. Portable later alleged that Davido had abandoned him after using him to gain publicity.
