Prankster ZFancy Arrested for “Wrong Prank”

Nigerian prankster and social media influencer Ubani Zion, also known as ZFancy, was arrested by the Nigeria Police Force National Centre for Cyber Crimes on Wednesday in Abuja.

The arrest was made in connection to one of his recent pranks, which had sparked outrage and accusations of ritualism on social media.

The police had been alerted to the situation after an entertainer, Dami Adenuga, shared a video of a lady accusing ZFancy of involvement in ritualism.

 

The lady, who identified herself as Kokina, claimed that ZFancy was involved in ritualistic activities while searching for her missing friend.

The Nigeria Police Force confirmed the arrest, with Force Spokesperson Muyiwa Adejobi stating that ZFancy was arrested in relation to a case of a “wrong prank”.

The police have warned pranksters and content creators to be law-abiding and conscious of the impact of their pranks on public peace and security.
