The Presidency has dismissed claims that President Bola Tinubu released a fresh video, stating that the viral video is an old footage from last year’s broadcast.

Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, clarified that the President has not made any new public statements since his last broadcast on Sunday.

A trending video of President Tinubu which came out on Wednesday is not a new video. It’s a clip from the broadcast he made last year. President Tinubu has not made any other public statement since his last broadcast on Sunday,” Onanuga wrote.

However, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State described President Tinubu’s recent address to Nigerians as “empty speech” and urged the Federal Government to stop giving excuses.
