Femi Fani-Kayode, a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC has expressed optimism that with its presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC, would defeat the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in 2023.
The former Aviation Minister stated this while congratulating Tinubu for emerging as APC presidential candidate.
In a Facebook post, Fani-Kayode said: “I congratulate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on a historic victory at the Convention of our great party.

“I have no doubt that he will lead us to a resounding victory against the opposition PDP next year and that under his leadership our country shall go from strength to strength.
“I also commend the courage of all those other presidential aspirants that ran in this race and that displayed such commitment and loyalty to the party.
“I urge that we all come together as one, support our candidate and ensure that we defeat the PDP next year in the presidential election.”
