Beyond the silverware, these matches carry major implications.

The winner of the President Federation Cup 2025 will automatically qualify for next season’s CAF Confederation Cup, representing Nigeria on the continental stage.

They will join the third-placed team from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), who also earn a ticket to the same competition.

This setup not only raises the stakes but also highlights the Federation Cup’s role in shaping international opportunities for domestic clubs.

Looking Back: El-Kanemi Warriors’ Triumph

Last year, El-Kanemi Warriors claimed the title in a gripping final, adding their name once again to the storied history of Nigeria’s oldest football tournament.

As new teams rise and old giants return, the 2025 edition continues to uphold the legacy of showcasing local talent, passion, and national pride.
