Prominent Nigerian Traditional Ruler Dies | Daily Report Nigeria

Oba Ebenezer Osingade Olanloye, the Olu of Igbogila land in Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State is dead.

Olanloye “peacefully” passed away at the age of 96 years.

The news of the revered monarch’s demise was announced by High Chief (Mrs) Margaret Olutayo Olaotan, the Erelu of Igbogila land, in a statement released on Wednesday.

The statement, issued on behalf of both the Igbogila Traditional Council and Council of Chiefs, disclosed that the Oba Ebenezer Olanloye breathed his last on Saturday, March 2, 2024.

As the community mourns the loss of her distinguished traditional ruler, it sought solace in honoring his legacy.

Olaotan said:

We invite the general public to join us in celebrating the remarkable life of our highly revered Kabiyesi.”

Also, the statement clarified that an online publication allegedly signed by one Akinlolu Atanda Ajibade should be disregarded.

It added that Ajibade had previously been removed by the Late Olanloye during his lifetime.
