A 48-year-old man prophet identified as Atok has been eaten by crocodiles while being baptised.
Atok drowned and was subsequently torn to pieces by crocodiles.
The incident happened in the Olifants River in Limpopo, South Africa.
It was said that the victim’s remains were discovered surrounded by crocodiles on Sunday, January 21.

The man was one of three ‘prophets’ who went to the overflowing river to conduct the baptism last Sunday.
Police spokesperson, Col Malesela Ledwaba said:
“One prophet suddenly experienced difficulties and drowned in the crocodile-infested river.
“It is suspected that he was attacked by crocodiles during the baptism ceremony.”
Police chiefs have urged locals to avoid crocodile-infested rivers, either to swim or conduct spiritual activities.
