The protesting members of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) and Nigeria Bar Association(NBA) have blocked the Convoy of the Osun State deputy governor, Mr Benedict Alabi, on Thursday, leading to delay for about 20 minutes while going for an official duty in his office.
The protesters who barricaded the road when the deputy governor convoy ran into them, prevented the convoy from moving.
Despite the pleas of security agents that, the deputy governor and his entourage should be allowed to go their way, the protesters remained adamant until Mr. Alabi and his entourage narrowly escaped when they entered into a filling station around the protesting scene and hurriedly zoomed off.

The members of the union who trooped out in large numbers, barricaded major roads in the state capital in Osogbo before marching down to the state secretariat to register their grievances on the neglects concerning their demands.
The protesters who went on a rampage to ensure the full implementation of the financial autonomy of the judiciary at the High Court, Oke-Fia, Osogbo also, proceeded to Customary Court through to Federal High Court opposite Osun State House of Assembly.
