Denmark midfielder, Christian Eriksen scored with his first touch following an emotional return to international football against the Netherlands.
Eriksen scored with a powerful drive just two minutes after coming on as a substitute in a 4-2 defeat for the Danes.
The Brendford star was a first national team appearance since suffering a cardiac arrest in Denmark’s opening game of the European Championships against Finland in Copenhagen, in June 2021.

The former Inter Milan midfielder came on amidst a resounding applause from fans Dutch manager Louis van Gaal, raising up his hands to the sky in thanks.
It was more befitting that his 37th international from 110 appearances came at the Amsterdam Arena, where he started his football journey.
He made 162 appearances for Ajax, winning five trophies, including three consecutive league titles between 2011 and 2013.
