Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling is expected to seek a significant financial settlement before departing the club this summer.
Sterling, who has fallen out of favor with new manager Enzo Maresca, still has three years remaining on his contract, which reportedly pays him £325,000 per week.
Transfer expert David Ornstein noted that Sterling’s priority is to negotiate a payoff for the remaining contract value, which amounts to tens of millions of pounds.

“Discussions are ongoing between Raheem Sterling and the club over his exit terms. With three years left on a high-value contract, Sterling aims to resolve this financial aspect before choosing his next destination,” Ornstein said on NBC Sports.
