Rangers manager Philippe Clement praised Leon Balogun for his significant contribution to the team’s 2-0 win over Heart.
Balogun made his first start since February in the Scottish Cup semi-final, teaming up with John Souttar at the center of the Light Blues’ defense.
The 33-year-old defender stood out with his steady presence, offering experience and calm under pressure, which had a positive influence on the rest of the team.
After the game, Clement commended Balogun for his exceptional performance and the impact he had on the pitch.
“I think he [Leon Balogun] was massive today, he played a really good game in the coaching and in the duels with his hunger and desire, so I know I have four really good centre-backs and this season they have all played,” the coach told Rangers TV.
“That is a thing for the next couple of weeks as a team performance and all going forward together in this chase for the title.”
