The Redeemed Christian Church of God has imposed disciplinary action on Leke Aeboye, a son of the General Overseer of the church, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, for referring to some pastors of the church as goats.
Leke, had in a outburst on Wednesday called out pastors of the RCCG, referring to them as goats for preaching follow up messages on Thanksgiving Sundays.

However, some pastors were found wanting of preaching after Pastor Adeboye’s message on such Sundays.
Leke’s outburst, which was greeted with disdain from Nigerians on social media with many calling for his suspension, saw him face the Disciplinary Committee of the church on Thursday.
The Committee imposed disciplinary measures on the younger Adeboye, who is a Senior Personal Assistant to his father, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
Though, the disciplinary measures against Leke are yet to be made public, the pastor has since apologized for his actions, while accepting the actions imposed on him.
Taking to his Instagram page to apologize, Leke wrote: “I wish to use this medium to tender my unreserved apologies on the statement made from my social media handle about some of our esteemed pastors.
“The disciplinary measures taken by the mission is well received and this period will be used to reflect and retrospect.”
