Reactions as Wazobia FM Staff Commits Suicide After Sack

An employee of renowned radio station, Wazobia FM has reportedly committed suicide following his sacking by his employers.

Hillary is said to have been relieved of his duties two days before his suicide action.

Sources say he was asked to resign following an accusation of misappropriation of company funds by the Lagos – based broadcast station.

Hillary who worked with the radio station until November 18th, 2020, was a sales executive and had worked with the firm for about a decade.

He died of cardiac arrest triggered by an overdose from drugs on Friday November 20th, 2020.

Mr Hillary Okechukwu is survived by a wife and two sons.

Friends and families have since reacted to his sudden death, while lamenting that suicide is never an option.
