Contrary to speculation, Mbappe won’t inherit the iconic No. 7 jersey, famously donned by his idol Cristiano Ronaldo.

The jersey is currently sported by Vinicius Junior, and Mbappe will only assume it if the Brazilian vacates it or opts for a different squad number, as per Mundo Deportivo reports.
As for the No. 10 shirt, currently worn by Luka Modric, it’s rumored that the Croatian midfielder will depart at the end of the season, potentially leaving it available for Mbappe’s use.
While the French sensation is anticipated to depart Paris Saint-Germain this summer, he’s also been linked with moves to Arsenal and Liverpool.
