Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo has reacted after setting a new record for the most goals in a Saudi Pro League season. The Portugal international scored twice as Luis Castro’s side defeated Al-Ittihad 4-2 at home on Monday in their final league game of the season.

His teammate Abdulrahman Ghareeb extended the lead to 3-0 before Al-Ittihad pulled back two goals. Al-Nassr secured the three points with a late strike from Meshari Al-Nemer, closing their league campaign with a victory.
Reacting to his record-breaking performance, Ronaldo posted on Instagram, “I don’t follow the records, the records follow me.”
