The referee for Wednesday’s UEFA Super Cup final between Real Madrid and Atalanta has been confirmed.
Switzerland’s Sandro Schärer will oversee the match, which is set to take place at Warsaw’s Stadion Narodowy. UEFA appointed Schärer for this prestigious role, marking his second time officiating a Real Madrid game.

Schärer first refereed a match for Real Madrid during the 2022–23 Champions League group stage, where the team secured a 3-0 win against Celtic.
The UEFA Super Cup match between Real Madrid and Atalanta is scheduled to kick off 14 Aug 2024, at 8 pm Nigerian time.
