Actress Regina Daniels has fired back at her co-wife, Laila Charani, after a storm of allegations involving drug use, lesbian affairs, and claims that she is a danger to children in the family.
Laila had earlier questioned Regina’s statements about giving her money, insisting she has no reason to depend on anyone because her husband, Ned Nwoko, provides everything she needs. She also accused Regina of being unfit to be left alone with her daughters, saying she no longer trusts her.

According to Laila, the problems in the home escalated because Ned allegedly asked Regina to quit drugs and alcohol. She said her husband has always been firm about not tolerating wives who drink, smoke, or use drugs, stressing that he neither smokes nor drinks himself.

She accused Regina of being “a bad influence” since joining the family, claiming the actress introduced her to drugs six years ago, an experience she said almost cost her marriage until Ned intervened.
Laila further alleged that Regina extended the same behaviour to workers, nannies, and even her own younger sister, Destiny.
She also accused Regina of same-sex affairs, saying she discovered that the actress was “sleeping with every single girl around her,” a situation she described as alarming enough to keep her daughters away.
Regina, in a lengthy response, dismissed Laila’s claims as a script written for her. She described the accusation that children shouldn’t be left with her as “useless and hurtful,” insisting she plays a motherly role to many children in the household.

Touching on the allegation of sleeping with girls, Regina neither confirmed nor denied but pointed the finger back at Laila, suggesting Laila’s certainty could only come from personal experience. The back-and-forth has deepened cracks in the Nwoko household, with both women publicly trading accusations that have now pulled the entire family into the spotlight.
