The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has accused the Federal Government of nurturing terrorism.

The group also accused the Federal Government of covertly sponsoring and supporting terrorists who have massacred many innocent citizens.

IPOB in a statement signed by its spokesperson, Emma Powerful, also accused President Muhammadu Buhari of colluding with terrorists to free their members from Kuje Prison a few months ago.

Daily Report recalls that there were rumours that over 100 Boko Haram terrorists were secretly released in exchange for the freedom of the kidnapped Abuja-Kaduna train travellers.

Responding to the report, Powerful alleged that the government unconditionally released the remaining terrorists from Ikoyi Prison, “while the same government is illegally detaining unarmed and peaceful IPOB Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB Members in various detention facilities across Nigeria.

“These Fulani terrorists freed by their government were either swapped with the Abuja train hostages or freed to prepare for National Jihad as the Fulanization agenda is at its final stage.

“These Boko Haram terrorists detained in Ikoyi, Lagos was never taken to court since their detention in 2019.

“We are aware no court freed or granted them bail but they were released through Presidential or Cabal order.”
